Danny Silk confronts the mentality that as believers we have to insulate ourselves against the suffering of others. Jesus was the one who said that "whatever you did unto the least of these you did unto Me." Acting with compassion is not about reacting to guilt trips; it's about being willing to accompany someone in their pain. May we be a people whose lives shout "I love you" and who bring the kingdom wherever we go!

Danny Silk serves on the Senior Leadership Team of both Bethel Church in Redding, California, and Jesus Culture in Sacramento, California. He is the President and Co-Founder of Loving On Purpose, a ministry to families and communities worldwide. Danny is also the author of four books: Culture of Honor, Loving Our Kids on Purpose, Powerful and Free, and the to- selling Keep Your Love On. Danny and Sheri married in 1984 and have three children and three grandchildren.
