The Context Of Servanthood

November 06, 2011

We are entering into a new season where the test of abundance will be more difficult than the test of lack. In the midst of a revelation of sonship, friendship, and royalty - Jesus gives the disciples a story of servanthood. Jesus was the servant King who washed feet. We lead as servants. As we begin to understand our place as royalty, we can serve His body.  Serving releases us for kingdom success, positions us for grace, and helps us end well.

Banning Liebscher

Banning and his wife, SeaJay, are the Senior Leaders of Jesus Culture Church in Sacramento and Directors of Jesus Culture, a ministry mobilizing a generation of revivalists and reformers who will shape culture and transform nations. Their passion is to see nations awakened to the love and power of God and for a generation to fully give themselves for the cause of Christ in the earth. Banning and SeaJay define success as doing family really well and getting together with some friends to change the world for Jesus. Their greatest joy in life is being parents to Ellianna, Raya, and Lake.
